Wedding season has begun!!!

Last weekend I was able to shoot a wedding with Kelly Manno and had a great day! Ok. It was actually kind of crazy. About 20 minutes before the ceremony Kelly came to me a bit distraught as the mirror in her main camera fell out... FELL OUT! Luckily, Kelly and I use the same camera body and a lot of the same equipment so we made it through the day and got some really great stuff! Here are a few shots I got before the ceremony at the church... Yea, Melinda was a GORGEOUS bride!!!

The Shelton Family

I'm deep in the midst of updating my website. I decided to go with a totally different template designer and there's definitely been a learning curve to figuring this out. I'm hoping, however, that in the next month it will be ready to go!

I've had the pleasure of photographing this family for a couple of years. Not only are they beautiful but really sweet as well! They have a gorgeous boy and equally gorgeous girl that make my job too easy.



They're sweet big boy wasn't really in the mood for too many formal shots but I loved what I got when we just let him be himself! There are so many cute shots of him playing but this was one of my faves!!!



The princess was anything but high maintenance! She was truly angelic and had the best smile!

A Quick Sneak...

I'm running around trying to get myself ready for my daughter's first school musical tonight (she's sooo excited!!!) but wanted to give these mommies a little sneak of their baby girls. Aren't they too sweet!?

More family friends...

Here's another sweet little girl. Her mommy and I are great friends for many reasons, one being that she makes FABULOUS jewelry! Ok. We were friends waaaayyy before she became a jewelry success but it's certainly nice to have some perks! :) If ever you see me wearing a cute necklace or earrings, it's about 99% that she made them! After you check out her beautiful daugher below, you should check out her stuff too!

Family Friends

Ok. I'm trying out some new stuff on here. I'm planning to do an overhaul on the website soon. It's been nearly two years! I'm trying a few new things here first. I thought it would take less time but I've been working on this for hours! I'm definitely not an html programmer!!!!! My brain hurts! lol

Anyway, on to more important stuff...

One of the great things about doing this is that I get to watch my friends' kids grow up. I see it everyday, of course, but there's something about capturing where they are at a specific time in their life. It amazes me how fast they grow up. This first amazing kids are the same age as mine and so they've always played together. We thought that Gavin might get some extra good smiles for us, so we brought him along.

And I had to include this one because it reminded me of a picture that was taken many years ago (before I even knew how to work my camera) of their older siblings.

Another beauty...

I love being able to spend time with families and see how big their babies are getting. The last time I saw this pretty little one, she was just a few days old and was sleeping in daddy's hand. Look at her now! She has grown into such a happy and funny little girl. She thought her mommy was hilarious and has a gorgeous smile. Toward the end she was definitely getting tired but still gave us some of her best smiles!

First post of 2009!

So, I was told last night that I am the world's worst blogger. :( So, here I am sucking it up and getting back on here. It's not that I haven't been working but that I've been working my booty off! I took on more work in 2009 than I had before, met some AMAZING families, GORGEOUS brides and had the time of my life with each of them! A HUGE THANK YOU to each and every person that allowed me to capture a part of your 2008!!!

On a side note, I will be taking most of Feb off from shooting to focus on my poor neglected web site and family. My site has not been updated in two years... GASP!!! I know, I've heard over and over that it needs to be updated and I do know. So, be looking forward to that in a few weeks!

I am also hoping to get back to using this for my sneak peeks, so here you go. All I have to say about this BE-U-TI-FULLLLL little girl is that her parents will likely have to lock her up in about ten years or they will not be able to keep the boys from knocking the doors down! Thanks guys for letting me spend the morning with you! She is more beautiful each time I see her!
